The Heart Behind Mishri's: A Granddaughter's Tribute

My journey with Mishri's is deeply personal and inspired by one of the most important person in my life – my beloved maternal grandmother, Mishri, or as I fondly called her, Nani. She was my biggest supporter, always dreaming of seeing me become a strong, successful woman. Through every challenge and triumph, she stood by me, offering not only emotional support but also financial help when I needed it most, especially during my studies.

Nani passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and creativity. One of the things I remember most about her was her love for jewelry. She had a special talent for crafting beautiful pieces using fabric, pearls, beads, and other materials. Each piece she made was unique, just like her. I always admired her passion and the joy she found in creating something so delicate and beautiful.

After her passing, I found myself missing her presence deeply. One day, as I was reminiscing about all the wonderful things she had taught me, an idea struck me. I wanted to honor her in a way that kept her memory alive and continued her love for creating jewelry. That’s when I decided to start my own jewelry business – and I named it Mishri's, in her honor.

This business is more than just a venture for me. It's a way of keeping my Nani’s spirit alive. Every piece we craft is made with the same love, patience, and care that she put into her creations. I wake up each day with a sense of purpose, knowing that through Mishri's, I’m sharing a piece of her heart with the world.

At Mishri's, we’re not just delivering jewelry; we’re delivering a labor of love, imbued with the essence of my Nani’s warmth and creativity. And though she may not be here physically, I feel her with me every day, guiding me on this journey.

Love you, Nani. I’ll miss you always, but through Mishri's, your love continues to shine.
